@MrPersecutor1 Katrina came into Florida as a category 1. And yes, Florida knew about it a few days ahead of time. But it was forecast to be Cat 1 in Florida. And it was relatively small in size too. Not until it had crossed into the Gulf did it become the monster that hit Louisiana and Mississippi, There's a BIG difference between a Cat 1 and a Cat 3 or 4. The reality of what was going to happen did not set in until about 24, maybe 36 hours before the second landfall.

@MrPersecutor1 Before you flame me again about the forecast of Hurricane Katrina in the Gulf, take a look at your comments on your channel. I have a video you need to see. You have no clue what you, or I, am talking about. As of Thursday night, Aug. 25, (72 hours before the Louisiana landfall), Katrina is projected to move north along the Florida coast and strike the panhandle as a minimal hurricane. LA and MS are not even in the discussion yet, let alone the idea of it exploding into a Cat 5.

@samsrevolution I know! thats what he has to be scared of. I lived in PR, we had our generous share of hurricanes and although the winds destroys the most in terms of physical structures, is always the rain and floods what end up costing human life.

I heard that hurricane Katrina was a ploy concocted by New Orleans to receive money from the US government. I could be wrong though--I do live in a small shack on a small island in the middle of the pacific ocean. Not to mention my internet server runs on gerbils running in a wheel and my computer screen made out of old glass bottles; and quite frankly I can't even make out the picture--are those Japanese soldiers at 6:23?
